Howard “Bo” Sapper
Mr. Howard Sapper is a 37-year veteran of the Entertainment Industry. He has been the CEO for Harmony Festival Inc., Global Pacific Records Inc. and is currently the President of Extrordinaire Media. Howard has been around the entertainment business for most of his 62 years. Sapper spent his college years doing concert promotion from 1971 to 1975. He co-founded Global Pacific Records and Distributors in 1979 and owned Hawaii Artist Recording Studio from 1980 through 1998. Over the last 37 years, he has acquired extensive experience in all aspects of the entertainment business from A & R, financial forecasting, marketing, promotion, as well as negotiating domestic and international recording licensing, distribution agreements and live concert and festival operations. In 1996 Sapper founded Extrordinaire Media as a music production and consulting firm. In 1998, it expanded to a full service entertainment company. As President, he has had the honor of managing many internationally known artists and working with producers from around the world. As an executive consultant he has been instrumental in the running of many entertainment companies. Sappers extensive production skills are visible in prerecorded music, live concerts and festivals, Film and TV production. Since 2014 he co-founded and is the Executive Director of Everybody Is A Star Foundation which provides opportunities for artistically gifted youth and young adults with special needs a medium to shine in the Video medium as all live performance.
Mr. Morris is a veteran of the music and entertainment industry. Mr. Morris was the Executive Vice President of Global Pacific Records for twenty years and the Controller and Director of Finance of the Harmony Festival. He has experience in the management of record labels, distribution companies, music festivals and several medium size successful businesses. He has extensive knowledge in financial planning, operations, art direction, marketing, manufacturing, accounting and back room services.
Mr. Neal Sapper is the owner of New World N Jazz Marketing & Promotion. He has spent more than 28 years helping musicians build personal branding through name recognition and radio airplay. Neal started his career in the music business as the VP of Promotions at Global Pacific Records in 1992. His work has earned him R&R Jazz Independent Promotion Person of the Year, Gavin Jazz Independent Promotion Company of the Year and Jazz Week Jazz Independent Promotion Company of the Year awards. Throughout the years he has been a participant on numerous industry panels. New World N Jazz clients have won Album of the Year, Artists of the Year and Label of the Year Awards from various trade publications and organizations.
Mr. Thomas Sapper has over thirty years of experience in sales, marketing and retail promotion in the music industry. From 1986-1997 he was the VP of Sales and Marketing for Global Pacific Records. His responsibilities included sales, marketing and promotion with distributors CBS, SONY, CEMA, WEA and Navarre. Since 1997 his label clients have included Blix St, Domo Records, AmeriMusic, Megawave and Pacific Coast Jazz. He has worked with distributors such as Allegro, Big Daddy, Bayside, City Hall, IDN, MVD and others. He is the current Music Head of Retail Sales, Retail Promotions for Motema Music and primary contact for eOne Distribution
Mr. James entered the music business in 1977 and worked for International Talent Booking in London. Later, Bill Graham Presents hired him as a production manager. In 2005 he left Bill Graham Presents, which by that time had become Live Nation. Since then he has toured every summer with Bob Dylan on the East Coast. At present he is a vital part of the production management teams for Langerado Festival in Florida, Rothbury Festival in Michigan, Outside Lands and Treasure Island Festivals in San Francisco and for Earthdance.
Ms. Llerena has twenty years of experience in strategic planning from working as an engineer in the auto industry to running a winery. She has spent the last fifteen years as a business consultant helping companies and individuals plan for the future. Ms. Llerena has an MBA with an emphasis in finance.
For the last 20 years Ms. Yvonne Hendrix has been working in the music industry promoting some of the best festivals on the West Coast, including Harmony Festival, Earthdance: Global Festival For Peace, Santa Cruz Blues Festival, Santa Cruz American Music Festival, Kate Wolf Music Festival, Enchanted Forest Gathering, Reggae on the River, Reggae Rising, and The Emerald Cup. Her responsibilities included creating custom tailored publicity, event marketing, managing social media, and advertising campaigns.
Brian has over 20 years of professional experience programming websites. He has run webcasts for Barry "The Fish" Melton, Country Joe, and Quicksilver Messenger Service, along with Big Brother & The Holding Company. Currently Brian works to help clients reach the maximum audience possible using smart code and proven online marketing.
